This place was perfect for my family. We have a child with special needs who tends to throw things or swipe things off of tables. The lack of useless decor/knickknacks laying around was outstanding. The unit felt very clean and uncluttered. We loved it!

Mixed Experience at Sonder Vista Cay (Build 4000, Room 403) We recently spent 5 days at Sonder Vista Cay, and while it had its perks, several issues impacted our stay. Pros: · Spacious rooms · Responsive customer support via chat · Essentials room with fans (saved us during AC issues) Cons: · Extremely hard beds · Clubhouse/game room too far from room (inconvenient for teens) · Unreliable AC (malfunctioned multiple times) · Electrical issues (breaker flipping in living room and master bedroom) Our AC woes began on day 3, with temporary resolutions. However, on our last day, it completely stopped working, leaving us sweating. I grabbed fans from the essentials room and opened windows for relief. Additional electrical issues plagued us: the breaker for the living room TV and master bedroom would flip whenever we turned on the living room TV. I appreciate Sounders' responsive chat support, but the issues persisted. Suggestions: · Upgrade bed comfort · Improve AC maintenance · Enhance electrical infrastructure · Consider relocating clubhouse/game room or providing shuttle service Despite these issues, the room's space and customer support were positives. However, the problems detracted from our overall experience. Would we return? Maybe, but only after improvements. Recommended for: Families seeking spacious rooms Not recommended for: Those prioritizing comfort and reliability Tips: Check AC and electrical systems before settling in, and don't hesitate to reach out

Great location for theme parks. 7 min Seaworld & Aquatica. 15 min Universal parks and 1.5 hrs Busch gardens. Lovely 3 bed appt. Basic but had everything we needed (apart from a few wine glasses but no deal breaker). Good to have Publix within walking distance. Nice pool and gym

AWFUL smell inside this unit. Smelled like formaldehyde. Beds were too hard and sheets not soft. Not enough drawers for clothes and not enough hangers. Kitchen was great but poor selection of dishes for cooking. Walls are thin. Could hear everything.

We loved this property! Very convenient to get around to Sea World and other water parks as well as the airport. Our favorite part was being able to walk across to Publix to get what we needed to prepare meals in the residence. The only thing we wished they had more appliances such as mixing bowls and food prep containers and a few more pots. We were a large group and it was a little difficult when trying to prepare breakfast and dinners with limited pots. Other than that the property is excellent and we loved being able to use the Essentials room; super accessible if you need extra linens or cleaning supplies without the need or bothering housekeeping.

Simply the best self-catering accommodation I have ever stayed in. It was a very attractive price, so we booked. I was a little unsure about the virtual check-in, but I was contacted by Sonder 72hrs before check-in with all the details. It was so simple when we arrived and our taxi dropped us off outside the door and we was in our room within seconds. I was very impressed with how spacious the accommodation was. Large kitchen area, leading into a lounge and then a door onto the patio (we were ground floor). We had a 2 bedroom suite and both rooms were spacious with excellent bathroom facilities for both. I travelled with my 2 teenager daughters and one them slept on the large sofa bed in the lounge without complaint, and said it was perfectly comfortable. Both beds were a good size and mattresses also very comfy. The kitchen was very spacious and well fitted out with, oven, large double door fridge drawer freezer, disherwasher and microwave ( toaster & coffee machine). What also was ver handy was the washing machine and tumble dryer. The only thing missing was an Air-fryer, as to cook even a portion of fries, you have to fire up the oven which did take some time. An Airfryer would be an efficient appliance that maybe could be considered? Location wise, absolutely perfect. We were on a theme park holiday and SeaWorld is 10mins away via car, Disney 18mins and Universal 15mins. Don't bother hiring a car, use Uber, is a much cheaper way of getting around.

All information for stay was easily accessible via their Sonder app, which was helpful. Property was nice and well-kept. Our unit was in fairly good condition. Kitchen was minimally stocked with supplies which did make cooking a bit of a challenge, but we were able to manage with what we had. Before our visit I did ask what type of coffee machine we would have and was told the unit had a “pod” coffee machine, but turned out to be a grounds & filter machine. Our most aggravating issue with the unit was the breaker kept tripping, turning off living room TV and primary bedroom outlets. Only an issue in the evenings, but most of the time we were busy with other activities, just disappointing at night trying to watch TV before bedtime. Pool area was nice with two pools and one splash pad area. Property was well situated for our use including walking distance to convention center (but walking in Florida heat during summer is no joke!!). Property was also right next to Publix grocery store and a few restaurants. Drive to Disney was roughly 15-20 minutes and Universal was roughly 10-15 minutes. Bus stop was also close that had direct route to Universal. Overall we would stay here again.

Loved the space and overall appearance. The problems were: roach running around the bedroom on the last morning there, not enough hot water to fill a bathtub or if two people take a shower in different bathrooms After each other, several outlets not working, and at least half the shampoo/conditioner/bodywash containers did not pump or barely let out any so you had to pump it a hundred times to get enough to wash yourself. Besides the roach, the rest were just inconveniences. Also, there is no parking if you want to use the gym. Our unit was too far to walk to. It was separated by miles and a major road in between.

The property is located in a great location close to grocery and restaurants. This is not a luxury condo unit but clean and well furnished. Furniture is IKEA-LIKE quality.
