"I travel to Palo Alto for business regularly, and often find hotels either good but wildly over-priced, or really mediocre (and still over priced). Hotel Citrine was a breath of fresh air, and a welcome new addition to the area. Rooms are thoughtfully decorated with comfortable beds, a big shower, plugs where you need them, fast and reliable wi-fi. "This quaint mid-century motel has been painted and offers very nice accommodations. I found the room to be clean and have everything I need from larger, newer facilities. Refrig was adequate and the bed very comfortable. I liked the tub because so many newer places aren’t putting them in and sometimes you just need a good soak! The office staff was pleasant and accommodating. Great price for a quaint comfortable stay."

"Loved this property we go to San Jose monthly and I would consider making the drive to stay here, lovely room, clean updated. The pool is the focal point, everyone seemed to be having a great time, cocktail's offered off the pool area along with food, which was REALLY good we got sliders which were cooked med and juicy as well as the Caesar salad that even had a hint of anchovy!
