"Overall very good experience, personal is excellent, everything was on excellent level. Only thing we did not like is our room placement, we booked east with pool, since it east we expected to see sunlight at the morning but room we got was on lower level and did not seen any sun. For 1k per day it felt a little bit bad location. "

"Hotel is located about 15 minutes outside of Phuket downtown just by the beach Khad. A very beautiful bay with the sun setting on the other side. The hotel is in very good condition and have the amenities one could ask for. For instance very nice pool area. What makes this hotel so special is the staff and the food here. The staff is super friendly and reminds us of how genuinely friendly Thai people were back in the days. Always an honest smile always willing to go the extra mile. See examples lower down in review. Also the food here is amazing! No wonder they have had Michelin star every year since 2019. We also took a Thai-cooking-class held by their executive chef and their restaurant manager as interpreter. Highly recommend it! We flew a drone over the bay that without reason just fell from the sky and sunk. Staff directly offered to help to dive for it at last given coordinates. Sadly we didn’t find it due to to deep water. Despite us leaving for home they will still make effort from hotel to try to recover it. Next week lowest tide fishermen-friends will cast nets with weights to try and fish it up. If that doesn’t work they offered to reach out to scuba divers and try to recover it. If you are going to Phuket and want a great time and relax this is the place. Maybe not the best beach, but still okey. A special thanks to Pen, head of restaurant, an Nook, who helped us search for our drone. But in fact the whole staff is amazing! Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was lovely and personally catered for all of my needs. It is not a huge place and is away from all of the hype you get in areas like Patong which was right up my street. I got onsite help booking my excursions and transportation when needed. The pool was nice and although the space isn’t huge I didn’t struggle to get somewhere to sunbathe whenever I went out there. Having the bar close by was helpful on lazy days for food and drinks. The team there were also very friendly. Flamingo was a nice restaurant and the food was tasty, however it was a bit more on the pricey side than what I had become accustomed too, however compared to the UK still nothing to grumble about. Other than the room, pool area and on site restaurant I didn’t experience any of the other amenities, so can’t really comment on the quality of them. I preferred to pay the prices externally for spa treatments and the gym was not something I was here for. The walk to the beach was short and if you are happy to spread your own towel and provide your own refreshments it’s a lovely place to spend time by the water. The only real critique I would give is that the partial sea view is exactly that in order to enjoy it from the room I was in and most to be fair based on the configuration of the hotel you are likely only going to be able to enjoy when physically stood on your balcony. Didn’t spoil my stay though. My room was huge and my bed was super comfy. If you like the quiet life, it’s for you"

"Phuket Panwa is a great hotel in a quiet and scenic location. A stretch to call it 5-stars, but it would certainly make a great 4-star hotel. The rooms were dated, but very comfortable. When you have sea facing rooms, just know there's high & low tides. When it's high tide, the view is scenic and serene, takes your mind away from reality. The breakfast buffet has a great selection of your usual international and local fares. The small private beach could certainly do with some garbage pick ups, but it could also be a case of hotel guests that don't pick up after themselves. We enjoyed ourselves very much during the 3 nights there and would certainly stay at the resort again as it's only 15-20 mins away from Phuket Old Town by taxi."
