"This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff, unfortunately a leak from the top floor impacted our stay as we came back from a day of touring and our bathroom was flooded. An offer of a reduction in our stay or a credit at the cafeteria attached would have been nice. The maintenance staff were quick to respond and were very polite."

"Pros: Great location in center of Madrid, walkable distance to all attractions, less than 1 mile away from Palace and Prado museums. Great attentive staff and reception. Outstanding breakfast m, totally worth the money!!! Cons: Outdated rooms, leaky shower cabin, some water damage, some decolorisation on the ceiling. "honestly this place did not look like a hostel. More like a holding cell for immigrants , in fact I was asked if I was part of a Colombian group that is staying awaiting deportation. The room smelled really bad.,people were inside their beds and they seemed very dirty people . Some of them lived there.
