"Absolutely loved it. I stayed in room 12. It's a beautiful room, big bed, excellent bathroom boasting villeroy and boch sanitaryware. From the moment i walked in, i had a lovely friendly greeting and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was top notch..i had eggs benedict for breakfast both mornings and highly recommend it. It's a lovely pub with a working waterwheel outside and a cosy log burner which i enjoyed sitting by whike reading a book and having a drink. My only gripe is...i can't visit more often!"

"The newly refurbished hotel is beautiful. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was any bother, they went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We had 3 rooms, each one was different, but all were stunning. The beds and bedding were very comfy. Everywhere was spotless clean. The attention to detail was so good. The facilities in the rooms were such good quality, lovely kettle,coffee maker, radio, hairdryer, robes and slippers. Everything had been considered. The food at both breakfast and dinner was very tasty and of a high standard. The lounge areas were very cosy and comfortable. All in all this was a beautiful place to stay and I would hope to return sometime. "
