"I stayed 2 nights in one of the "cabins" (my unit was not actually detached so a little odd to call it a cabin but whatever), not one of the domes. It was spacious (travelled solo and was in a room with apace for 5) and the views were amazing from the room and the property. "Never again. We had to leave 2 days early and try to find another place on high season for my party of 8 because of over booking. The service was just terrible. To bad, because the area was great. Dont rent from this place."

"The hotel is showing its age. The beds were rock hard. The room and bathroom were clean but had some visible damage. No AC or television in room. Staff were civil to guests. Guest parking is awkward but secure. The overall neighborhood is rather creepy. "

"Loved the views and was especially a fan of the juice at breakfast in the morning. Super convenient kitchen access and excellent location with a short, easy walk to the main center of Monteverde. If we had known how much we were going to enjoy we would've planned to stay longer. "

"The property is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Our stay was beautiful. I would gladly stay there again. The only thing to know is the road there is a bit rough, I made it in a tiny 2W drive car though. I thought we would go back to Santa Elena for dinner but I did not want to do the drive extra, especially ar night. Good news their dinner was great and their dogs are a highlight of our stay. "

"Our stay at this property was great. We were well cared for and had the perfect mix of fun and relaxation during our say. The staff were very attentive and friendly. A big thank you to Andre and Antonio for getting us settled. We were at the hotel during a local holiday (Annexation of Nicoya) and the restaurant staff went out of their way to tell us all about the holiday and many other cultural details. During our stay we were able to use the kayaks to go around the island during the day and go on the bioluminescence tour at night. Our guides Josue and Oliver were so knowledgeable and even though we had a lot of rain during our bioluminescence tour, Josue and Oliver’s great attitudes and wealth of knowledge made it just another part of the adventure. We stayed for two nights with our two sons (8 and 12) and it was just the right amount of time to enjoy the islands flora and fauna, hotel amenities, and get some relaxation in. The highlights of our trip were the Howler Monkeys right outside our Glamping tent, the amazing staff, and seeing lighting, bioluminescence, jumping fish, and firefly’s all at the same time. All that is to say that we highly recommend this hotel. :) "
