Was there with a larger group of friends and family. Nice beach, very nice facilities and very friendly staff. Dining options in nearby restaurants are extraordinarily pricey. I didnt find it to be value for the money in dining. The location and quality of accomodations was at par with other 5 star resorts I have been to around the world.

I really enjoyed my stay here at Mayakoba and look forward to returning for a longer stay. The food and drinks were great, the service was above average as well. The grounds were breath taking, I canā€™t say enough about this resort!

We had a marvelous stay. Gorgeous property and the most trained and friendly staff! Most restaurants were excellent. Beach area gorgeous and service on the beach outstanding. The size of the property felt overwhelming though. I think better maps are needed and a more comprehensive orientation at checkin. Also, coffee and water should be available 24 hours a day in the lobby. This was a big miss. We did have a super time and highly recommend.

The place is beautiful but the hotel does not have the infrastructure to host as many guests as it intends to. You couldnā€™t find and available chair at the beach or the pool after 9:00 am food was average if not poor. Service was ok. I would go to the Banyan Tree instead.
