Senses is a beautiful, quiet getaway for us and we love coming here every year! The food is absolutely amazing and the rooms are clean and very spacious and the view from every room is spectacular! Most of all we love the friendly staff who work so hard to make sure that all of your needs are met. Christian, Angel, Hernan and Gerardo have been employed there for many years and we love coming to visit them twice a year. We can't wait to come relax here again in April!

I’ve been there a couple times and fell in love with the property then. But returning was not the stay I was looking for. The property needs an Overhaul from new beds, pool needs retiling, rooms need painting, the balcony tub wasn’t working properly mini frig wasn’t stocked had to call back after checking in. Too bad the property owner won’t hire me to oversee property repairs and overhaul. It’s Still a WONDERFUL location for getaways

The privacy and quiet were what we were looking for. We stayed at this resort 5 years ago and it seems that property maintenance and upkeep have been deferred. They could use a little sprucing up. Food quality seems to have tapered off a little also. Staff remembered us and we again had excellent service. The room is spacious, the view is excellent, the quiet atmosphere for a romantic long weekend was perfect for what we needed.

The food definitely needs improvement you can tell that management told them to cut back and water stuff down Some of the worst food I've ever had. Breakfast was just okay The first night we were there we ordered appetizers coconut shrimp for 12 bucks a piece and you gave you two little shrimp each that was their idea of appetizer

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place? This is IT! It was my first time in this beautiful and cultural boutique resort for my birthday and I loved it. They made sure myself and my party were well taken care off. The food was incredible and the house made sauce is something I highly recommend. I was a cheerleader for the underdog and this place and a precious gem that needs to be shared. I hope you give this amazing and unique place a chance. Come with an open heart and allow yourself to experience a real Mexico experience with an amazing staff that works there. They really made my birthday special and made me feel safe. Great location for a private getaway. Rooms are large great view and sound of the ocean. Clean and well maintained and friendly staff and service. The resort needs a good a mount of up keep with repairs especially the road getting to the resort. And better information signs posted for resort location.

Positives: bartenders, wait staff and maids were exceptional. The beds are very comfortable. Food is very good with a different menu each night. Negatives: concierge service is not friendly at all. They have you text the WhatsApp for anything but they NEVER follow through with your requests. You cannot control the temperature in your room, you have to use the WhatsApp to get the temperature to be changed. There is always a dampness in the room so be prepared to wash ALL your clothes even if they are not dirty. If you even think you may use the pool on your balcony, you better ask as soon as you check in and it MIGHT get filled by the middle of your stay. Otherwise if you like a small quaint hotel on the water and don't require anything extra then this hotel is good.

The atmosphere was peaceful and tranquil, with few dining options and very limited activities within the "resort". The ocean view and poolside area were the main highlights. There also seemed to be a lot of renovations underway during my stay, so hopefully, they'll improve their services soon.

We had read some negative reviews and we did not have their same experience. We had a great time and let’s be honest, you get what you pay for! If you just coming for. Couple days it is a great place to relax. If I were staying longer than 3 days I would book elsewhere because it does not have scheduled activities etc. we loved the staff and we WILL be back.
