"This house was beautiful and the pool was fantastic but the road to the house was very dangerous and guests definitely need a four wheel drive to get to the house. The house was a bit spooky at nights. Top floor was very noisy and everything shook when you moved and lots of noise from rats in the walls, and birds and shutters moving... so a bit scary for my taste. However Paolo was super nice and took very good care of us."

"The photos don't do justice to the actual home/resort. The owner and his nephew live onsite and are available to help with whatever comes up- nothing did. They even made recommendations for things to see and routes to take. The home is LARGE and spacious and the pool literally feels like you are in Hawaii or someplace tropical. "This is a lovely traditional country house surrounded by its own grounds but with other properties nearby. It is beautifully quiet (apart from cicadas) and very relaxing. The children loved the pool, which is set in its own gated area; the only downside being there is no shade near it except very early morning and late afternoon. We all immediately felt at home. "Casa Palmi was very comfortable and well equipped. The check in was smooth and owners very welcoming. The swimming pool was great. The only downside was the area, which was interesting! The sea was very near but not condusive to swimming as it was quite run down and dirty souroundings. There are nicer beaches near by, Our visit to Selenute Greek ruins was fantastic and highly recommended."
