"It was a nice little apartment. The people that live up front were very nice. I enjoyed talking to them. The bed was a little small, as im a tall person. The bathroom window needs better coverage. At night with the light on you can see in there. Other than those little things i would definitely stay there again. Much better than the local hotel "

"Jo-el's home in the best of a modern home in a country setting. The home has everything you would need in a homestay: a beautiful and well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, gorgeous bathrooms, and spacious living space. The furnishings are top notch. She and her husband are attentive hosts - seeking to make your visit warm and inviting. Two bonuses are the peaceful back deck overlooking a pond and the access to walking trails to Rice Creek Field Station. The only minor downside is the road...

"Perfect for a remote writing retreat! I spent a few days here on my own reading and writing and it was lovely. Was pretty easy to find although the lack of driveway was a bit confusing at first. The wifi and cell service is basically non-existent but for what I was trying to do that week. The sun room was lovely and the kitchen was easy to cook in. The shower had great pressure and the laundry worked great. The ladder to the loft was easy to get to up and down. I would book this place again. "
