"We were expecting to stay in a 1 bedroom cottage not a room There was no kitchen just a cupboard with a sink and a microwave so no room to be able to cook There was no bed as such just a futon because the room was so small we had to put it together and collapse it every day I was glad to come home"

"We decided not to stay. We found the property to be small, very dark and not that welcoming. Given it was dog friendly, the only outdoor space was a tiny paved area, not at all suitable. The cottage is right on the main road so very noisy. I don't know how the photos were taken but they don't reflect the very small and dark front room for instance. "We had a lovely stay at the cottage, however we did have a couple of problems. Our stay covered a Monday and Tuesday and pretty much all the pubs and restaurants are closed on mondays and Tuesdays - alternative choices would be very helpful. The lack of shower was disappointing. Yes, we should have checked beforehand, but not having a shower is unusual these days.
