The food was ok nothing special presentation at the buffet was the highlight but more of the baked items were always undercooked and the flavors were all off. We had issues with our room keys each day we were there and the response from the from desk was annoyance. We asked for extra pillow the morning of the second day and never recieved them from. We eventually got them directly from the staff cleaning the rooms a day later. The entertainment was good and most of the people were friendly. A couple of the bartenders were not nice when we asked for the blended drinks without alcohol. I stay at Riu in Cancun’s and enjoyed it. I will not be using Riu when we travel back to the Dominican.

I never got to try any restaurants besides the buffet, those restaurants need to have reservations not ask people to be there by 6 PM,when I’m not even hungry. People should eat when they get hungry. The hotel rooms need to be renovated most of the outlets didn’t work. This was the only hotel that I’ve been to and didn’t have lotion, everyone knows that people need lotion after tanning. The blow drier was a safety risk, once it was on I couldn’t turn it off.

The staff was very curtious. The all inclusive price and what it offers is a good deal. It has the basics for a nice time. Generally the place isn't quiet until after 11. If you want a quiet area, be specific when booking. The food is plentiful and good enough.

Room-3071 with balcony no view of pool just walkway and beautiful palm trees. The bed was comfy and clean, the bathroom smelled like mildew and there was a roach in the bathroom our last night. Water pressure was so nice. Room service left me a gift for my bday. Food: The breakfast was good my favorite was the omelets, Mangu, and fresh fruits. •Jerk chicken hut was delicious open daily for us we stood Sat-Wednesday •The buffet is delicious. The coffee, the water, the cakes, the steak, the shrimp, the chicken, the pasta was delicious (careful scooping the pasta I burned myself pretty bad. steak house; was good. The steak was juicy. It was served with delicious corn, broccoli and French fries. They also had fish and a trio to share as a couple including chicken, shrimp, ribs and steak. Vibe: Lit! Saturday and Sunday Jose at the swim-up was so nice The music was like bar hopping in Dyckman. The service was great. The pool was clean the activities and music was a good time. Cons •Stephanie check out not as helpful as I hoped •One person making omelets. •$10 per personal per hour after 12pm for late check out •Last night there was a roach in the room •Only one plug worked in the room •coffee machine didn’t work •The shop line was too long. One cashier open while other workers,just standing behind not taking customers. What a dump. This place needs a serious overhaul. It is dirty and run down. In our building alone, 2 out of only 3 elevators were not working. Then on the last day the third one was broken. The pool ran out of pool towels every day around noon and it was over an hour wait for clean towels to arrive. There was literally only one, two-stall bathroom near the beach/pool area. One stall was clogged the entire time. The other bathroom was closed completely for renovations. No work being done. The staff was barely pleasant and mostly seemed annoyed to be there. We had to move from our first room immediately because there was pee in the toilet and the safe was broken. The smell of sewage is terrible. In general everything was dirty and unhygienic. Sadly, my husband got good poisoning while there. Unfortunately we weren’t surprised.

I like the all inclusive aspect. Service is good. I didn't like the appearance cosmetically. The property needs some refreshing. Repainting and some other maintenance are required in the rooms.

Swin up bar was nice. Not many activites to do at the result was a downfall. Calendar showed things but coulr not locatw them of they were actually going on. Time of restaurants bring open was inconvenient sonwe ate only at buffet.

Too many things to overlook, as a seasoned traveler. Room 3127 has mold on the shower head. No radio or alarm clock. No cord in the phone. TV full of static. The resort... No top shelf liquor at the bars. No mimosas at breakfast buffet. Limited food options. Basically the same menu everyday. Food just not good. No bars of soap. On the last day of my stay no elevators worked. I thought to myswlf atleast im going down. I felt bad for the guy lugging his and his wife's luggage up to the fourth floor. I've never wanted to leave a vacation before it ended until Repulica. I couldn't wait to get to the overpriced airport food!

Beach was beautiful. Food absolutely horrible. Couldn’t get beach towels for 3 days, every time we went they told us come back in 25 minutes. None of the ice machine worked . No hand dryers in bathroom worked. I’m not a picky person when it comes to food but the food was horrible. The only good food was the jerk chicken by the beach. I I’ll never return
