We went to adults only side with colonial club upgrade. This was definitely worth it. You have access to whole resort along with quieter areas and not as crowded beach area. The food was fantastic at all restaurants. Drinks great -all free. Walkable and less than 1/4 mi to beach from any room. Very clean. Fridge in room stocked every day with water, soda, beer. You probably could ask for liquor, but bars are only steps away. The staff fantastic. Not near any town. But you can take a short taxi ride to shops. I would recommend this. The shops at resort very expensive.

Sharing my review based on a recent stay Jan 12-18, family of four (two adult kids aged 22), we've done multiple all-inclusive holidays in the Caribbean. Resort: -Check in and check out was a breeze. They had our notes and provided us with a room with two beds for the kids -Resort is SUPER clean everywhere and very beautiful landscaping -It is neither a party nor sleepy resort, it is a good mix and has something for everyone's vacation style Rooms: -Room need a bit of renovation, however I found them perfectly acceptable. There is a bit of a privacy concern as rooms are really geared towards couples, the kids need to trade off to have privacy as the bathroom is not enclosed -The maid staff do a wonderful job and always made sure our towels and toiletries were replenished -The Snacks and Mini-fridge were filled a bit slower, but they did come around -Rooms are spacious. We stayed in room 2232 and loved it as it was near everything in the middle of the resort Pool and Beach: -The pool knocked my sock off! It is HUGE, it is clean and I cannot say enough about it. There are quiet areas, whirlpool areas, a swim up bar and activity area. I got my exercise pool walking the length of it. -Never had problems finding chairs in the shade either at the pool or the beach, so no need to get up at the crack of dawn to ensure a spot. I absolutely Loved that! -The beach is the best on the stretch. We walked the entire length of the beach and checked out all the other resorts.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It had a gym but that needs a little updating. The beach and pool were great. However, I must say I was more impressed byt the staff, starting with our butler Edith Edwards. She was very friendly and we were always happy to see her. We also met Marta, the customer experience person and she took us on a private tour of the three resorts. We even met Juan, the manager of the three resorts. Never experience this before !!! She even arranged for us to have dinner at the Mirage hotel. The Italian restaurant was great and the manager, Elias TAPIA and hostess Naomie were great with exceptional service. Staff noteworthy of mention Warfi and Rayita at the buffet and our maid, Gloria. We travel a lot in all inclusives and on our own and I must say, this vacation was one of the best in recent memories. I would certainly recommend and we will be back next year, hopefully at the Elegance.

Property is big and pool is very big you can get lost in it, also the beach is really nice plenty of chairs available. Only thing I would ask them to do is to have golf carts run through out the resort, it can save people time and frustration of walking with kids or older adults

Our favorite thing was how large the pool is, how many options there are for everyone, restaurants, bars, hang out spots, etc. It allowed for everyone to be spread out on the resort so it didnt feel crowded.

The staff was not warm or welcoming. The food was so much better 10 years ago. This time it was not fresh with very limited options. No flavor and poor selection. The room was in poor condition. Shower was rusty and moldy. The covers on the bed were filthy. The white couch in the room was so incredibly dirty. Only allowed 1 towel pp. The only good thing was the beautiful beach and the pool areas. But the service and people were so passive and uncaring. Very unhelpful and unapologetic. Would never go back

The resort was so pretty! The staff were so nice, and attentive. This was one of the best beaches/oceans we have seen or been on. The only downside to us was the beach was very busy with a lot of people (not secluded like Excellence Punta Cana was), and a lot of vendors selling things. We didn’t go 2 minutes without someone passing us trying to sale us something. They weren’t super pushy, but it was a constant flow of vendors. The food was good for an all-inclusive resort, and the drinks were so good. We would go back here.

Everything was really good, people around were great and very friendly, the reaort has so many activities to do and if you travel with kids and family you can have a nice experience. I love this place and we will back for sure!!
