"I only spent one night at the Washhouse, but as soon as I entered, I felt right at home. The Washhouse was very clean and tidy, and very comfortable. I did not venture upstairs for the sake of cleanliness, but the downstairs was very nicely set up for Guests. There were lots of games and activities available for people who choose to stay longer, and the English mastiffs outside were so lovely and sweet and ready for pets! I would definitely return if I ever come back this way."

"This cottage had beautiful views all around us of the mountains as we set nestled in the valley. The host was extremely hospitable and provided so many things above and beyond for our pleasure during our stay. We enjoyed a nice fire with provided hot dogs and smores, plus corn hole to play. The cottage was clean and perfect space for us to relax. It was also within a close distance of many places to visit and explore!"

"The caretakers of The Birdhouse have thought of everything to make sure you are comfortable. Highly recommend. Only downside was tv did not work. Since we werent watching it anyway, it did not inconvenience us."

"A group of friends stayed at Big Springs B&B for a weekend trip to Highland County. The house was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal and we appreciated the farm-raised beef in the freezer. The setting is beautiful. "We thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully decorated and well stocked cabin. Hosts have thought of every convenience. The space was clean, comfortable, and inviting, both inside and out. Was a prefect retreat for JMU Family Weekend and a scenic drive to/from Harrisonburg. Hope to return for a longer stay!"
