"the hotel is a bit hidden & hard to find at first. If you can catch the shuttle from Kyoto station to the hotel, I would recommend it. It is a lovely hotel. I booked a room on the executive floor, and I'm not really sure if there was any additional benefit that I was not already accustomed to for a regular booking. "This is truly one of the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed at. The staff are all very kind, the facilities are all very intentional, clean, sleek, and add to the experience. Our room was lovely, the steam shower especially was a huge highlight to decompress after a big day of exploring Kyoto. It is very easy to walk to train and bus stops and get around most of Kyoto. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! A big highlight of our journey in Japan so far."
