"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"Our trip to NC was to experience The Tail of the Dragon on our motorcycles. Oh did we get that in spades. 318 curves in 11 miles, everywhere, not just on the 129. The cabin is perfectly situated to enjoy some great driving loops. Loaded with lots of maps and brochures to help you get oriented to enjoy your stay. There was nothing that we wanted for. "What a fantastic house on the lake. Pictures don't do it justice. The neighborhood is a little tricky to drive through for my Floridian family, but once settled in it was a beautiful, spacious, modern comfortable house. Pool table, solid wifi, standup paddleboards, and a dock that you can fish right off of. Firepit overlooking the dock was great also!"
