"Very clean, modern, and comfortable. The king-sized bed had beautiful crisp white sheets and was very comfortable. I came her for the pool and sauna which my child loved. The room has tea and coffee. We got robes ans slippers on request plus a toorh brush kit. The snack bar and restaurant are very convenient. I recommend the hot chocolate from the snack area. Its a good price for London and close to the DLR. So its easy to get to anywhere central in London. There are some works going on at the Excel but that didnt bother us. The TV in the room is large. The air con and heating very efficient. They also have a bar area with table top games. The staff are friendly and professional. A fun thing to do in the half term break. "

"This was an alternative stay that I booked after them first stay turned out to be a disaster. I stayed in a recently finished, modern annex. Nothing negative to mention about this stay apart from the fact that I would’ve liked access to the building to be more flexible for non-residents. You cannot buzz anyone in; you have to personally walk down and open the door for them. I do, however, understand that this is done in the interest of safety for all hotel residents."
