"Staff were excellent , breakfast equally good. However, the hotel is old and tired and there should be a health warning in regard to the steep winding staircases. The rooms could benefit from the addition of body lotion, tissues and a coffee maker. The hotel has a good vibe and we would come back. "

"Absolutely loved staying here. A great welcome from the owner and a tour of the room and house. Great dinner option provided via a local takeaway and was given a plate and cutlery on arrival to use. Guest lounge is lovely and comfortable. My room was cozy, lovely tea and coffee making facilities. It is an old place so you will squeak on the floorboards now and again. "Small beautifully restored country house hotel. Used as a wedding venue, but they don’t let that get on the way as they prefer for it. Stay and staff were fantastic. Evening food options are limited but plenty of variety available with 5-10 min drive. "
