"Modern design-style hotel with good sized rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. In the area there's a good selection of restaurants from Greek to traditional German. My only negative was the tiny bathroom in a room designed for 4. I'm not sure who designed this, but they need to have another think. A minor point otherwise as it's a good hotel."

"Grand looking hotel in a great location opposite the main shopping area and an easy walk from the station and football museum. There is also a u-bahn station right opposite. Excellent value for money. Everything ok and worked fine. Just a few niggles.There were no English language TV channels, the bedroom smelled slightly of smoke and check in was slow as there was only one person. There was no aircon (i knew that) and the nights were quite hot. "

"Inspite of some revues I had read this place is clean, has a great lake in front with koi carp. Very close to the shopping centre which bus and S line can be accessed through.. No tea making facilities in room but when asked they kindly gave us a kettle and cups. The staff were friendly and helpful. "

"I was only in Bochum for a concert. The hotel seems rather new, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. I didn't know the red-light district was a block away, but there is no noise or spillover from that area. The breakfast is advertised as environmentally sustainable. It's a bit overpriced, but there are not a lot of breakfast options nearby. It's close to the shopping districts and a couple good breweries. They also sell alcohol in the lobby, reasonably priced."
