"We enjoyed our stay as a family. Just a misunderstanding about the supply of towels. Coming from New Zealand we expected them to be automatically supplied. Sebastien kindly sorted it though. Enjoyed village and surrounding area was very interesting. Great castles and historic ww1 sites. Thanks."

We used it as a base to travel the area, going as far away as Baden Baden, Switzerland and closer to Strasbourg and Colmar. "We picked this house for a family reunion and to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. We couldn't have chosen anything better. The house itself is lovely with 5 good bedrooms, a spacious dining room and plenty of outside seating on the terrace. The best feature though is the garden, secure for kids and the family dog and absolutely massive. As per description the kitchen is small, but in combination with the conservatory it worked fine. Hopefully we can return at some point in the future."

When we got home we had no heat for the evening but it was too late to contact them. It would have been nice to have some control over the heat since one of the parties was older and handicapped. "We have been staying at this Ibis twice a year for 16 years, and have always been happy with the service. It is our mid journey stop and we welcomed the addition a few years ago of the opportunity to have a hot meal too. We travel with our dog and have never had a problem in that respect. A clean and comfortable hotel

"I had a good stay in this clean and comfortable hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfy and the finishes were new. There were a few minor items that could be improved though. The balcony door didn’t lock which wasn’t an issue for me but might be for others. The drapes only had black outs and not a set of sheers. Again - no problem for me but could impact someone else. As with most hotels I found a lack of hooks for hanging things up annoying, particularly in the bathroom. For example there was no place to hang a hand towel next to the sink. Other than those small issues the room and my stay were great. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there are a lot of amenities at the hotel. The breakfast was ok - nothing special but worth getting because there are no real options nearby. The hotel is 12 or 15 miles outside of Strasbourg but you can take a local train that will get you there in 20 minutes for 10 euros round trip. The train station is a ten minute walk from the hotel. All in all this hotel is good option if you need to stay in the Strasbourg area. "
