"This hotel is stuck in a time warp. The owners were very helpful and the service fine but the condition of the room was circa 1975. I was staying alone so not too bothered but the roof tiles in the bathroom were moldy and flaking away and the room was like a rabbit hutch for the price. Not a place for a romantic escape!"

"We really like the big room we had. Not new, but in good condition. Very friendly stuff... but nothing was going on for new year in hotel. If they start to serve good coffe for breakfast we come back. Best part was the taxi servis to the lifts with great drivers..."

"Overall very good. There were a couple of maintenance issues I raised with our room which unfortunately weren’t resolved during our stay (eg bath plug was not operating so bath could not be filled). There was no follow up on this to keep us informed. There was no turndown service which seemed a bit odd for a 5* hotel. Otherwise, everything was great and it is a lovely hotel."
