"The Stanford is a modern hotel located a 40 to 50 minute bus ride from the more touristy ares at the center of Seoul. The area is modern business and high rise residential area with nice parks. It’s a nice quieter area with lots of interesting modern sculptures and architecture. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops near by. A 15 to 20 minute walk away is a busy older restaurant and bar area."

"Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to major shopping streets and public transport. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a great mix of Korean and Western options. Perfect for both tourists and business travelers. I would definitely stay here again!"

Great stay

"The hotel is located in the Euljiro area, which is very central yet quiet and still has a local charm. Close to 3 subway stations and a walking distance from main attractions. The hotel is next to a construction site, but there is no noise and not scary at night. The room itself is excellent and very spacious and we were pleasantly surprised there was a walk-in closet, washer and dryer and full kitchen that had a stovetop and oven. However, there was no toaster or microwave and no kitchenware - no dishes or utensils, which was disappointing. Only two mugs and teaspoons like in other hotels. We assume that this is because the hotel is quite new. We wanted to try out the breakfast but it gets very crowded and has a long line in the morning so we gave that up. Overall, really great hotel and great stay, just a few minor fixes would make it perfect."

"Amazing hotel at the best location in Seoul. Walkable to different palaces, night shopping areas, right next to the Lotte department store. Rooms are nice, clean, and the technology is impressive. They even have 110V plugs (despite the country being 220V). I would stay here again in my next visit."
