"The Menger is a historic hotel of great beauty and style. My room was one queen size bed and had two armchairs.what I liked especially was a little nook with a desk and mirror. The hotel service was excellent for two days and then the staff decided that I must ask for service for the next 5 days. Very strange. Also if you did not catch breakfast or lunch at their main restaurant, you were stuck with mediocre tacos in their taqueria or with bar food, which was a little better, but the hours were limited."

"We enjoyed the easy access to the river walk, downtown, and shops. We loved the hotel branding on everything. The bed was very comfortable, the view was nice, and the staff was very polite and helpful. The entry way looks great, and the courtyard sitting area was awesome with the fountain and fire."
