Create lasting memories in this large two-story home with panoramic views of ocean, Mission Bay, City of San Diego, and all the way to Mexico on a clear day. This open floor-plan home has all of the fine details to make your stay in San Diego unforgettable and is close to all of San Diego's attractions. When not out seeing the sights enjoy the pool, spa, waterfalls, water slide, fireworks (Summer and New Years Eve) and BBQ in your private backyard oasis. This house is perfect for a couples, large families, or multiple families. It provides something for everyone whether you want to kick back and relax or explore everything San Diego has to offer.

BEDROOMS:
Large master bedroom downstairs opens up to private oasis in backyard. Lounge on the hammock, take a morning dip in the pool or spa, or just enjoy the sunshine on one of the many lounge chairs around the pool. Three large, spacious rooms upstairs for rest or play. The fourth bedroom upstairs is a large loft area with floor to ceiling windows to enjoy panoramic ocean/bay views. Large closet downstairs with plenty of additional towels, toys, and games for children and adults. This house is perfect for those traveling with kids. We provide a queen size air bed and bedding for additional sleeping arrangements.

AMENITIES:
This house is an ENTERTAINER’S DREAM. Backyard comes to life at night with 40 lights softly illuminating beautiful rock features. Fountains imbedded in rocks create cascading waterfalls throughout rock features. Relax on the lounge chairs or have some fun on the 25 foot waterslide that wraps around spa. There is state of the art pool/spa saline technology (no chlorine) with digital multi-colored pinwheel lights to create the perfect ambiance. All features controlled with touch of a button via the wireless remote. Plenty of outdoor seating on loungers and chairs. The backyard has a large gas BBQ for afternoon or evening grilling. House works great for multiple families.

The house is centrally located and accessible, yet is nestled in a very exclusive, quiet, and private neighborhood. All major attractions including airport are within 15 minutes away. Watch the Sea World fireworks every night during the Summer. New Years Eve is absolutely incredible with multiple firework displays going off all over the city. Great vacation home!

Fun house with lots of amenities!
The outdoor space is truly spectacular for kids and grownups a like. We could have been happy just hanging out in the heated pool, using the waterslide, trampoline and hot tub our entire trip. And gym in garage was a nice bonus. A wonderful multi-generational play to stay.

Wonderful Vacation Home
This property is everything you want it to be and more. The whole rental process and communication with Quinn was a breeze. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, inviting and fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The backyard pool, slide and spa are like your own little piece of heaven, especially when all lit up at night. My kids really enjoyed playing basketball on the poolside court daily as well. My family had such a great time, I highly recommend this home for your next San Diego/Pacific Beach vacation!!

Pacific Beach Paradise
Great property, very clean, easy to get hold of owner. Secluded back yard/pool area. Kids loved the slide! House close enough to Pacific Beach if you like the bar scene but far enough away up the hill for privacy. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome Family Christmas Getaway!
A HUGE thank you to the Smith family for hosting our San Diego Family Christmas vacation! The property was beautiful and we enjoyed every minute spending time together and playing in San Diego. The property location is excellent and close to all attractions! We loved the backyard, firepits, hot tub and pool area. The house was a perfect size for our group and beautifully cared for (even decorated for Christmas!). Thank you again and best wishes in the new year!

Family Vacation
I cannot recommend this property enough. It was the perfect house for our family of 9 and is exactly as shown in the online photos. Our 3 grand kid’s loved the pool, spa and water slide. The house is very centrally located - about 20 - 30 minutes to every place we wanted to visit. Everything was extremely clean and more than enough dishes, glasses, kitchen ware etc. We ate outside for every meal and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. We hope to return next year.

We loved this location
Overall a great place. We will consider renting again. I wish a few things were described better prior to renting. It should be disclosed that the pool is very deep and has very little room for young kids with out swimming skills to play. It would also be helpful to note that the owners of the house have cats and despite the home being very clean and appropriate, the smell of cats is noticeable, especially in the garage.. Overall, we had a wonderful 6 days. The home allows for easy access to the various parks and beaches. .

Good location with a tremendous back yard.
We had a great stay, the house is nice but the back yard steals the show. It's a wonderful location and outdoor setting with hot tub, pool, and water slide. The only downside would be they automatically turn off the outdoor lights and power to the hot tub at 9:30 pm, and the water drains out of the hot tub on its own at that time. - party over! There is one great bedroom downstairs but the other bedrooms are more like kids rooms, so plan accordingly. Also, there isn't heat or air that we could find, so it was very cold in the house while we were there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the back yard makes up for these small issues.

Do not book this home for you own safety.
We showed up at check in time and the cleaning service were still going on for the next 30 minutes. We waited for them to finish. We put down our belongings and went to use the pool. We had a few friends come over to use the pool while the sun was out before they were leaving to check into their hotel, there were less than 10 people in total, and it was never mention to us that a few people could not visit during the day outside of quiet hours. The home is also advertised as a 10 person house, and we had a total of 10 people in the home for an hour. If the host does not want 10 people in the home ever, he should not be advertising it as a 10 person house. Again, only 4 were planning on spending the night, like we told the host when we booked it and when he called us. We did not throw a party, we had a few people over that still was within what was allowed to be at the house according to the listing. The home also claimed to be pet friendly, so our friends brought their dog over. The dog was not staying at the house. We had 4 people total staying in the house, and no dog was spending the night. Less than an hour and a half after the cleaning people left and we entered the home, we were called and told to leave immediately, not given any warning. The host was rude, was not listening to reason, and lashed out. He told us there was a complaint about music, but we only had music playing inside of the house at a reasonable volume, wh

Backyard/pool AMAZING, but inside the house/amenities need work for the price
The house doesn’t have AC, and even on days where the temp was 70 the house got HOT given it has nice, big windows on the 1st floor. Our 1st night was miserable given the house was sweltering, the windows had to be open, and the renters next door had a raging pool party until 3am. Heads up that the house next door is also a rental with an awesome backyard/pool, and some renters might not be considerate. After not getting any sleep we emailed the owners, and the good news is they were responsive and brought a freestanding AC unit to make things more comfortable. They also called the owner next door about the noise. This house has an AWESOME backyard/pool/hot tub. The pool was clean and deep, and the hot tub and curved slide were a huge hit. The backyard also has a hammock, basketball hoop, long eating table, and a comfy shaded lounge area. It was well stocked with beach/pool towels and pool toys. The only complaint about the backyard was the gas grill was unusable since it had not been cleaned in a long time and was heavily smoking. It was a huge disappointment to rent a house for a week and not be able to grill. Inside the house the oven had the same issue as the grill; it hadn't been cleaned in some time and was smoking heavily from burnt on food. The electric cooktop's main/largest burner only half worked so we had to improvise. Because of the cooking issues we ended up eating out more than we would've liked, and it detracted from our stay. The house has a nice layout and incredible views. It comes with plenty of blankets, utensils, plates/cups/bowls, etc. They also have a lot of "extras" like many DVD's, books, kids equipment, storage, etc. However, the beds are not great. By day 3 everyone was complaining, and we all had aches and pains. We were surprised the mattresses were older and lacked box springs/support. We overlooked the house only had 2 bathrooms (master & 1 other) so that was really hard for 9 people (5 adults/4 kiddos), but that was my issue for overlooking. Pay close attention to the listed "sleeps" number. Loft area has an air mattress vs. a bed, and I think it should be marketed as sleeping less than the listing does today. The house has potential for sure; the owners just need to put the same upgrades into the house that they did to the pool/yard. They seemed very responsive after our 1st rough night so maybe this review will improve things. I would say 3.5 stars if halves were allowed.

Beyond Expectations!!!
This is an absolutely beautiful property!! Well kept, and even decorated for the season!! The information as to how to use everything was excellent, and the kitchen was the best equipped that I have every had the luxury to use away from home. The pool and the hot tub were excellent!! The yard was a private resort, and very pet friendly!! Sunset was an activity every evening!! And the Firepit was excellent in the chilly evening? This was a very pleasant experience!! Vacation Oasis
Our group thoroughly enjoyed the property with something for everyone. The backyard has been designed with every detail considered and we enjoyed the pool, spa, slide, trampoline, basketball hoop, etc. We planned for a couple days to just hang out at the house and those were some of the best days of our vacation! As others mentioned, Quinn was very responsive with any questions we had. This is a great find!

Amazing vacation spot for all ages!
Amazing vacation spot for all ages! There are simply no words for this wonderful paradise! It was very relaxing for a senior citizens and the grandchildren had a ball in the backyard! The kitchen was very well stocked and it’s the little things that count. Ample supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, please and laundry detergent. We loved all the outdoor plates so we could relax outside with our meals. Mr. Smith was prompt in responding if I had any questions. Now let’s address the elephant in the room. I know the price is a little steep but it is certainly well worth it. From here we are going to a Long Beach hotel where two rooms will cost $700 a night and will be cramped for in a room . Imagine what we had this last week a whole pool to our self a whole spa to ourselves everybody had their own bed and bedroom. It was glorious. It was well worth the price! We are already planning to come back next year!

Paradise in Your Backyard
This property was even better than described, which is almost impossible! The house was well laid out and had all the amenities you could want. The owner was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The highlight is the spectacular backyard oasis with pool, slide, hot tub, basketball goal. trampoline, and a bunny to play with! My family of 6 spent most of our time in the backyard and shared it with family who live in San Diego. My brother-in-law said "Michelle, you have outdone yourself this time!" So, I will say that to the Smith family, you have outdone yourselves creating this wonderful vacation home.

Beautiful Oasis, gorgeous pool & back yard setting perfect for get togethers with family or friends
Lovely property. Had everything we needed to enjoy time together at the house or take our adventure to the beach. Perfect for entertaining within our group. Plenty of spots for individuals to enjoy alone time as well. Close to restaurants and all San Diego has to offer. In the hills closer to the highway than the beach so required driving to get anywhere, but we knew that going in.

Great Vacation Home for family
We enjoyed everything in this house! My kids (all under 7) loved warm pool, slide and yard. My parents loved hot tub and relaxing environment. Location was perfect, close to everything that we needed including grocery stores, restaurants, Sea World! Quinn was very quick responding any questions and issue; we couldn't figure out how to use new microwave (very fancy one!) so he dropped off brand new one right away. It was very relaxing/fun vacation thanks to Quinn. We will definitely come back! Thank you very much.

Amazing stay - perfect place for families.
This was the best property we have ever stayed at hands down. If you’re looking around, this is the one! Property owners were very thoughtful - lots of small generous touches - and there was not a thing that wasn’t perfect. Definitely want to babe this place a habit
