"Fantastic location, great ocean view, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast. My only concern was with the shower, which was lukewarm on two of my three nights. When I reported it to the front desk, they explained that it was due to high demand at the same time, but this didn’t make sense, as it wasn’t a busy season. For a four-star hotel, I’d expect a reliable hot water supply regardless of occupancy. Overall, though, a great experience with just this one small issue."

"The room was nice. However, the building is a construction site, so there is constant noise and accompanying mess. The foyer smells of sewer. The elevators are unreliable and a bit dodgy. The power was out on one occasion during construction, so no elevators or air conditioning at all. We arrived to find ONE towel each, and no way to wash them, for an 8 day stay. No beach towel, nothing. Next, we rented this place largely based on the fact it had laundry in the apartment. Got there and it was...

"The property is well maintained and centrally located. Very clean. But…. The stairs to the 2nd floor are a nightmare!! Irregular depth and height, and the curvature at the top makes getting suitcases up dangerous at best. There is no AC but the fan sufficed for an early October stay. My husband had to watch several YouTube videos to work out the complex coffee maker which was annoying. Finally the hot water only lasts about 4-5 minutes in the shower. Overall, an okay stay but would t do it...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous apartment. Very clean, perfect location and a stunning terrace. Really the best place to stay in town. The furthest ends of Sesimbra beach are a little modern and not very pretty but this apartment is in the nice old town area and directly opposite the really good beach. Annoyingly,we didn’t realise that the management rent beach chairs and umbrellas and, as they were slow to respond to our question re this, we went out and bought some. However, this...

"Great location & ocean view. Apartment was exactly as described, spacious 2 bed & 2 bath. Host was very helpful with providing recommendations for sightseeing & restaurants to eat at. Beautiful downtown with lots of restaurants & local food market. Highly recommend if you want to wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean."

"We spent a great week here with our 5y oldin August. The place is perfect for a couple or with one (poss 2 kids). You could almost dive into the sea from the terrace you are that close. The apt is super romantic as is the surrounding area. It is also very clean and extremely well presented. You are right there for the best restaurants, shops, cafes Sesimbra can offer. Patrick a very affable host. In short we will be back."
