"The property was quaint and lovely. The staff were extremely welcoming, warm and attentive. The location was walkable to the main road however at night it was poorly lit and the road would be considered almost an alley by North American standards. You needed to walk with your phone flashlight. As a solo female traveler, knowing that Bali is considered safe, it was still a bit unnerving. The property was clean but the room itself needs TLC. Maya Sanur - we will be back!
"We loved staying at the Maya. It is such a beautiful resort. We stayed in a lagoon side room and it was a great location within the resort. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of it. We enjoyed the Tree Bar at night for drinks and live music. My wife and her friend went walking along the boardwalk that runs along the front of the resort from which wonderful photos of the sunrise could be taken. Reception staff were wonderful, as were all staff we encountered during our stay. Highly recommend."
