"We didn't stay long, but I always stay here when I'm in Claremont. This is a lovely spot, with a great restaurant and hot tub. The only drawback is the lack of parking close-by (the garage is 2 blocks away and up-hill, and my partner is handicapped) - there is limited parking behind the building, but that requires stairs. They have offered to allow us to park out front in the past, so if you have a wheelchair, you can ask. For this trip, we gave my car to my son and had him pick us up the next day. The rooms are cozy and warm. They are tastefully decorated with soft, quality linens and vintage furniture that "fits" the room. I just love this place. Choose it!"

"Very clean overall. Staff was friendly and responded promptly to our requests. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Must be good sound insulation - didnt hear other guests and even between the bathroom and main part of the room. Re: game room - enjoyed the pool table, but video games didnt seem to be working right. Swimming pool was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was typical hotel fare but fresh and plentiful. Was disappointed that the room didn't have an easy chair ( only a desk chair). Just a note to consider- hotel was at the edge of town, so no easily walkable restaurants. And many restaurants close early, so be aware when planning. No tourist info available in lobby. We would stay there again."
