"The flat/apartment had everything you need for a short stay. Nicely located with food and clothes shops close by. The hosts we're very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. We'd definitely return to this accommodation again."

"This hotel was built in 1844 and the spa is on the lowest floor, but it’s comfortable, the pool looks lovely and the jacuzzi is huge. We also liked the steam room, 2 saunas and ice cave with a swirl of cool mist as you walk in. It’s Victorian in feel, lots of tiles but great for what we wanted. Our double standard room with a sea view was spacious and the view spot on. Staff friendly and efficient."

"The hotel was very pleasant generally, but unfortunately we were put into a room which seemed to have been forgotten. The radiator did not work and the room could only be heated with a convection heater, the cleaning was inadequate and the kettle contained so many bits of questionable matter that we did not risk using it."

"Good location both for railway station and event venue (luckily climbing the hills should be good for my waistline! Not a criticism, as the hills are unavoidable.). Aside from that, hotel is fine, decent and comfortable - have stayed here before, no doubt will again. "

"10/10 - The Plough is an amazing pub/tavern and hotel! Room was plush, cozy and well appointed. Beds and pillows were comfy! Food was yummy, beer was good and people were incredible. Easy to park!"

"Really comfy place. Room was spot on. When the gentleman showed me the room. He noticed a mark on the duvet. (It was nothing really). It looked like they’d maybe rested the vacuum on the bed & it had left a bit of dirt. The gentleman changed the duvet cover there & then. I ordered my breakfast & unfortunately I slept in. When I left I apologised & they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Spot on place , would stay again."
