"Casa Magdalena is absolutely a hidden gem in San Carlos! I am A single woman that drove down from Arizona with my dog and even before I was on my way, we had communicated over the phone so I felt a sense of security. Cecilia greeted me as soon as we arrived and from there on it was just a perfect experience. My dog was more than welcome and they were very few guests so it almost felt like I had the place to myself. Even decided to spend an extra night because it was so relaxing and peaceful....

"I liked that It is at the end of the street. Very easy process to access the building and apartment with code only. The WiFi didn’t work for us , some technical issues. Also, this is on the 3rd floor, stairs only. I would recommend this place if able to walk up and down stairs only. "

"The Shell Castle his hands down the most creative and artistic place we have ever stayed. It is beyond what I could describe with all the shells, stone work and mirrors. It was like staying on a movie set. Hilda the property manager is superb and available for any needs we may have had. All the bases were covered.
