"This was our second time renting this house, we love everything about it. It's so peaceful and beautiful. The kids love going fishing and kayaking. The house has plenty of space for our large family and lots to do inside as well."

"The house is great. We enjoyed playing air hockey in the very nice basement. The backyard is amazing! Very big yard with pool and privacy fence. The lights in the backyard at night are beautiful and a great spot to relax and wind down. We loved it and already booked it again! The host is just great!"

"It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!"

"We really appreciated how clean the house was. Nicely decorated and everything was comfortable. We enjoyed the s’more ingredients waiting for us when we arrived! The only thing we would have liked to have was a grill. It’s close to VIR, much closer than hotels in Danville, and is very peaceful. "

"VERY clean, stocked with supplies and organized. If you appreciate clean towels, sinks, drains, windows, and linens this is the best place for you. Welcoming, comfortable furniture in living areas and bedrooms. PLENTY of space in kitchen for prepping meals, dining for our family of 14. Beautiful deck, furniture and lawn to play games. Dock is safe clean with furniture. Swimming is wonderful in this quiet area of the lake. Water amenities excellent all in excellent condition! Jackets rafts etc....

"First impression was to notch. Location was breathtaking. House was very clean (wife says it was one of the clematis houses we've stayed). Kitchen and the rooms were well- stocked with all necessities. The morning sunrise on the balcony was amazing. We were only there for a few days to attend our daughter's wedding at the Virginia International Raceway (only 14 minute drive!). We would've loved to stay longer to actually enjoy the lake but we were too busy in all the wedding preparations. Only...

"Loved the privacy and location.Somethings need improvement.ex; Cleanliness- there was leftover groceries left in the refrigerator. Long black hairs on and dead bed bugs on master bedroom bed. A/c is old and struggled to keep house a comfortable temp. Had plumbing issues with guest bathroom. Couple beer cans in back yard beside fire pit. We loved the house and the location.Communication with property manager was very quick. Would love to stay here again if the issues were resolved. I’m not happy...
