"Looks like an older building but everything was clean and the amenities were good. The front staff were very friendly. The free welcome drink bar was a nice touch and 7-11 right next door if you need anything. Very happy with the stay, especially considering it was reasonably priced."

If you are new to japan and SOMEHOW end up in this town it might not be the best for you but its close to the train station although a bit out of the way. I would probably not stay there again but it was the CHEAPEST and so would recommend it for a budget friendly basic place with breakfast."

"The location of the hotel is amazing, you cannot be closer to the Great Buddha, it is also a good experience to sleep in an old Japanese room. That said, you then understand why old Japanese houses are not worth much and Japanese people tend to prefer living in some modern less exotic dwellings.
