"This hotel was "fine." Reminded me of a Hilton. Taxi drivers said it was very typical for Americans to stay here. Nothing special. Reminded me of a chain hotel trying to be "boutique." Avoid the restaurant.....terrible. if we return to Siena, we will probably stay somewhere that really is a boutique property."

"The hotel is located outside Siena but is very convenient with a bus stop 100 meters from the property that drops off in central Siena. The facility has a fantastic restaurant with full bar and an excellent breakfast service that was the best of our trip. We had car problems during our stay and the hotel was extremely helpful giving advice and providing flexibility with us staying an extra night."

"We had an excellent 4-night stay at Hotel Italia. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness, efficiency of the staff - desk, breakfast room, cleaning service. Our room was clean and well-kept. All the facilities worked well: shower temperature and pressure, heating, lights, tea kettle, refrigerator. The beds were standard European firmness. "Really comfortable hotel , only stayed one night . A great nights sleep . All the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and could not do enough for us. Breakfast selection was in abundance but unfortunately the quality of the food was not great . Maybe less selection with better quality ingredients would be an option for improvement , but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for a short stay. "
