"We have been multiple times now and really enjoy the property and area. Beautiful lake and some local things to do and it is centrally located to many surrounding areas. Staff has been great each time. The most recent visit it was obvious they have continued to improve the guest experience with new activities that we did experience on prior visits. It is obvious there has been a large investment in the property. But the one negative is the main hotel rooms feel a bit like a dormitory. They aren’t bad by any means but there is just something missing, not getting that warm “lodge” feeling from it but certainly not a deal breaker. We will be staying again."

"Two night winter get-away. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. It's right on the lake and main Lake George strip. The main hotel is clean and the staff were excellent including the restaurant/bar staff. A few minor quibbles include adding some technology updates in the rooms including USB and/or outlets near the beds. The suites could also benefit from a second TV in the sitting area. The mountain view side actually overlooks the parking lot. Overall, would definitely stay at this location and be sure to do the tour of the adjacent Fort William Henry--it has a lot of history."

"We had a quick one night stop here on our way to Stowe because the roads got bad. And it was a very easy access to the room and the room was very nicely updated and clean. We had a pleasant nights stay."
