Amazing place to stay! This is the third time we have stayed here, you are always made to feel welcome. The hotel is right in the heart of Grassington, where there are great walks and restaurants on the doorstep. We would highly recommend it.

Little gem

Had an excellent overnight stay, lovely hosts & excellent breakfast. Set in its own private gardens just a couple of minutes walk away from main square, plenty of good Pubs to choose from for eating out or just chilling watching the world go by. Would definitely stay here again if in the area

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful stay at Ashfield House. The room was clean, comfortable, peaceful and the lovely little extras were much appreciated. The house is in the village just a short walk from The Devonshire pub. The breakfast was lovely and the hosts were very welcoming. Thank you for making our stay a pleasurable one.

Perfect base to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales

Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem.

Great location, just off main square of Grassington and parking too. Received watm welcome and room was warm, cosy and clean with the little touches like processo and Christmas candy canes appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and high quality too.

Lovely property in beautiful Grassington

Lovely property in the heart of Grassington. Lynn was welcoming and helpful, though a two-hour check-in window seems restrictive. Breakfast was outstanding. Breakfast staff was especially charming.

Fabulous Ashfield

Excellent 5* B&B with Lynne and her lovely team. Made to feel at home straight away and extremely relaxed. Superb breakfast and friendly service. Fantastic location with amazing walks on the doorstep. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for a future break!!

The property was centrally located for the village square but set back enough to be quiet in the evening, the garden was beautiful and highly maintained. The breakfasts were exceptionally good with quality products used. Parking and manovering was a bit tricky but overall an excellent stay .

A friendly and welcoming place to stay

Atmospheric and cosy bed and breakfast, with a good range of pubs, cafes and restaurants in the village. The room was just right for a three night stay, though the softish bed doesn’t suit everyone, and our room was a bit on the small side. One small suggestion - fresh fruit at breakfast perhaps? Other than that, a terrific place to stay for a break in the Dales

A little gem.

Grassinton is a quaint village in West Yorkshire. The Ashfield House is in the centre of the village and is equally quaint but with all the facilities you would expect to find in upmarket accommodation.

Lovely weekend away

Host’s were brilliant couldn’t do enough for you, breakfast was far too much but we managed to eat it all. The back garden area was a bonus, large and spacious luckily the sun was out, the only downside we had was the bedroom (number 7) with it being an old building the floors were very squeaky. We would stay there again but ask for a different room.
