Bring the kids to Smugglers’ Notch Resort, a special destination designed to provide perfect family holiday experiences on the snowy slopes. Cosy condominium-style accommodation complement an abundance of activities. The resort village is a true family community.

Patient and skilled instructors help beginners fall in love with the snow at the Snow Sport University ski and snowboard school, which holds classes for anyone from the age of 2.5 years. At one time smugglers really did use this “notch” or mountain pass, earning the area its name. At the centre of Smugglers’ Notch action, find the Madonna, Morse and Sterling mountains. Smugglers’ Notch has an annual snowfall of over 300 inches (7.5 metres). Three mountains provide ski runs for all abilities. Explore 1,000 acres (405 hectares) of terrain, extensive Nordic routes and 78 trails for alpine skiing, including 25 perfect for experts.

Smugglers’ Notch Resort has activities for all seasons. Play at the indoor FunZone Family Entertainment & Recreation Centre which features rides, obstacle courses and minigolf. In summer warm up with hiking, zip lining, mountain biking, canoeing and kayaking, climbing, Segway touring, fly fishing and trekking with furry llamas. Eight pools and four waterslides provide refreshment on a summer day, with views of the green mountains. The Bootleggers’ Basin provides a natural option, with clear waters fringed by lush lawns and reeds.

Travel between venues and amenities with the on-demand Resort Shuttle.
