"This is not a place for outsiders. All of the other guests in the (tiny) bunks were poor Indian men on their way to be, say, a guest laborer somewhere (one man showed me his visa to Ghana). Anyway, it was awkward AF, so I powered through a couple nights and then moved next-door to the Afra hostel — still pretty much a local place, but MUCH better, and I even made some new good friends there. "The hostel is in a great location, close to the train station and lots of great places to eat nearby. But that's the only strong point. Everything else is average at best. The place needs renovation, WiFi doesn't work, cleaning in the shared bathrooms could be improved. But the location is great. So if you are looking for 1 night near the station - this would do."

"I showed up and they told me I hadn’t booked. I showed them my hotels.com confirmation email and receipt. They said they never received the payment even though I had the receipt. They then made me pay for a full room which ended up costing more than what the room I booked online was. I also had bed bugs bite my legs during the stay. "

"I booked this place 2 months in advance. I never stayed at this place due to them not accepting foreigners. Upon arriving from a late flight, I called beforehand to let them know on my way. Once I arrived they told me that I could not stay there, it was only for Indian nationals. And that foreigners were not welcome. At 3am in morning, I had no choice but to leave and look for another place to stay. Overall, not a good experience. Not recommend. I’m still disputing this charge with Expedia. And...

"Great place to stay in Delhi. All staff were very kind and helpful specially Saroj mishra. The breakfast was spicy but superb and they were very accommodating providing us with none spicy omelettes. Their breakfast chai was amazing! The room was clean and house keeping was done when requested. Four water bottles were provided every day. The only downside is that the kitchen odours can be smelled in our first floor room."
