"We were on the second floor, the lift was clean and prompt, the room was clean and the bathroom clean. The shower was hot, but it felt as though one of the tiles on the wet room floor was a bit wobbly. Last time we had a bath, so next time we are going to ask for a bath. "Fantastic old Rectory in a quiet country area ideal for walks along the nearby canal. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice cooked to order. Staff were helpful and friendly. Decor needs a bit of TLC but it is an old listed building."

"Great situation for Sports venues, pubs & restaurants. Lovely old style hotel & very comfortable bed resulting in a brilliant sleep. As suggested to manager a large shower mat should be provided as bath seemed really slippery & I was very wary getting in & out due to a bad ankle. Lighting was also quite poor over this area although Shower itself was beautiful & hot. Breakfast was delicious & hot also. If resolved the shower points it's 10/10 every time."
