"Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable room, not a good view. Food excellent. Would have been great to have a shower but we quite understood that the boiler had packed up. It certainly did not spoil our break and would not stop us recommending the hotel. We were amply compensated for lack of hot water. It could happen to any of us especially over the weekend."

"Convenient location. Room in need of some TLC. Bathroom door needs a coat of paint and there was a tatty piece of skirting board under the shower. Very dim lighting. "

"Room was adequate - nothing special but fine for a night. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good - both choices and the food. Lack of parking a nuisance. The local multistorey is not expensive but still a hassle."
