"Mikayo Hotel in Kyoto is a fantastic choice for travelers! Its location right across the street from Kyoto Station makes it incredibly convenient for getting around, and it's next door to a mall with a wide variety of shops and food options. The rooms are a good size, offering comfort after a day of exploring. It's the perfect base for sightseeing, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"Very nice hotel. The room is big. Lots of restaurants around the area. The hotel gave us 1000 yen voucher (for each guest) to use towards the restaurant inside the hotel. We also got vouchers for free drink. Will definitely come back to this hotel again. "

"Although this place was good overall, however it felt more like a hotel than a traditional ryokan so for those who are looking for the traditional experience, I would not recommend this place. With that being said, as a hotel or hybrid ryokan, I would recommend this place. The highlight of this ryokan is the location. "This apt. hotel is Very convenient located in the center of the city, About 15 min walk from Kyoto Station, bus stops across the street or nearby. 西本愿寺 a UNESCO site is right in front of the hotel. We enjoyed staying here very much. Definitely recommend! "

"Beautiful hotel, rooms were immaculate and so comfortable. Staff polite, both English and Japanese speaking. Close to Kyoto station and a decent shopping centre. Bit of a walk to see sites but it just made the stay more enjoyable getting to see the sites on foot. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean. It is very close to Kyoto station and taking the public transit was a breeze. The hotel is very close to major tourist attractions and there are tons of dining options in the area. We highly recommend this hotel and we will for sure stay here again."
