"I have been driving from Dallas to my cabin in Colorado for about 20 years and I have stayed in many hotels and motels along the way. I would advise my friends that this is the best place to stay through this route. My wife was happy with the room and she is not easy to please. "The property and room were clean, and they are very accommodating to dogs ($20 per dog per day), the dog relief area has a few turf spots to use…nothing great, but it will do. The room had two vanity areas which is nice for space. The beds were comfy, the linens were decent, and the heater worked well. The propriety was relatively quiet considering it’s right off of Route 66. Check in and our was super easy, but the breakfast was really bad. I got there 10 minutes after our opened and the food...

"Dog and human hair all over bed, bath drain plugged, shower valve broken, mold at every wall/ceiling/floor corner, bed hard as a rock, breakfast was not worth trying cold cereal or a boiled egg. Coffee area was filthy. Sugar packets had been doused in something and were all hard and stained. Pass. Not worth even the lower price compared to La Quint across the street. "

"Nothing, it was terrible! Office was closed, no one answered the phone. Attempted several times. Drapes falling, old furniture on plain view, motel appeared abandoned and unhabitable. After 2 hours of waiting, I left and continue my travel."

"A buddy and I came to NM for an elk hunt. We wanted more space than a motel room could provide, and this place was perfect! Daniel was an awesome host, quickly resolved an internet issue that we had, and continued to check in on us offering assistance. We will definitely stay here again if another hunt comes along in the area. "

Long night

"The room was very nice and very clean. I did get upset when a guest left their dog in the room and it barked for almost two hours. I complained to the front desk and they knew which room it was. I think they should have called the guest and told them to return to the room to quiet the dog or they would need to leave. The hotel has the cell phone numbers for each guest, and could have called the owners. Also, I woke up at 10:30 to a loud noise outside. Was awake over an hour and finally called the front desk. They came to check and said it was an exhaust fan behind the room and I would need to change rooms. So at MIDNIGHT, I had to gather all my belongings and my dog and move. They were very nice and accommodating, but I really would like a discount. I lost several hours of sleep, and it was a major inconvenience to switch rooms in the middle of the night. "
