"Me and my husband recently stayed here overnight to celebrate a special Birthday. It was a lovely, clean hotel with a great bar and restaurant area. Pros: A lovely looking hotel,clean and inviting. The food in the restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast. I would definatly eat here again. The staff were brilliant. They were so helpful and friendly and very hard working. "My stay was roughly what I was expecting. The rooms are a bit 'tired' but okay for the money. Biggest concern I had was that the hot water was far too hot, scalding hot in fact, manageable in the shower with the mixer tap but the basin had single taps so the temperature of the water was dangerous. Also the tap had a left handed action, which is bizarre."
