"Excellent value for money. Lovely countryside setting and no frills, clean and tidy hotel. Set in well maintained grounds. Ample on site parking. Our second stay here whilst meeting friends in York.
We had to leave before breakfast due to a family emergency so did not experience the breakfast sadly.
Will certainly use Burn Hall again.

"We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "
"Simple furnishings but a very uncomfortable mattress lumpy and bits sticking up so not easy to find a comfortable position to sleep. Relieved I was on my own. "

Imagine yourself as a Viking in this museum that allows you to dig up Norse artifacts and witness reenactments, while you learn about York’s Scandinavian settlers.
"Lobby restaurant better than roof-top restaurant. Shower very good. Toiletries plentiful. Too many unmarked light and electrical switches. Luckily some seemed to come on automatically. Location is excellent for trains and easy walking access to York Minster and the tourist attractions. National Railway Museum currently very distant to access, due to reconstruction."
"Comfortable room in which you could actually control the AC for hot or cold. Rare! And the breakfast was very good, lots of choices and well prepared and presented. I’d stay again definitely"
"York is a beautiful city in England that reminds me of Greenwich Village in NYC. Fascinating shops, restaurants, with an old world charm. People were friendly and helpful. One of my most favorite places I have visited. Hotel and staff were excellent and helpful."
