"Be careful about signing up for the basic room. It is beyond basic with no finishes, no refrigerator, metal furniture, not what I’d expect from Scandic. Fortunately I was able to pay to upgrade to a nicer room also without a refrigerator but the hotel very nicely sent one up to me. The hotel was supposed to have bicycles but they were out of order and they nicely made arrangements for me to walk to another Scandic (the Marriott of Scandinavia) and use a bike.
