"Great quiet family stay. Spa was nice but needed a little care in places but was still very enjoyable experience. We had a penthouse room which was lovely, excellent views and a private huge patio. There were things like a TV but we never even switched them on. Parking was generally a breeze and very accessible. "Great day to watch the cows come home! Surrounded by beauty everywhere, cozy hotel with excellent staff to take care of us. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. Nice pool with Jacuzzi sauna steam room downstairs made for a nice relaxing two nights. Phenomenal. Especially breakfast!!"

"I recently stayed at Active Hotel, and I cannot praise it enough! The staff was incredibly nice, helpful, and friendly throughout my stay. The location was simply amazing, and the views were breathtaking. But what impressed me the most was the bed; it was hands down one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. And let's not forget the stunning pool - an absolute delight. I had an unforgettable experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a perfect getaway."

"Had a lovely spa break. Our stay was kickstarted with a lovely welcome, made to feel like family and instantly given a glass of bubbles and shown to lunch. The photos don’t do the spa area justice, it is gorgeous! We spent a lovely afternoon using the saunas, pool and relaxation room. "What a gem of a hotel! Beautiful exterior, and the indoor decor makes you feel warm and cozy. The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming we felt right at home. The rooms are spacious, well thought-out, comfortable and immaculate. We opted to pay a little extra to have dinner included; the meal was delicious. Sadly, our schedule only allowed one night's stay; hopefully we'll get to return for a more leisurely visit."

"We liked all the facilities and the staff were lovely, for us a room with a balcony with afternoon sun would have been nice, but thats a minor point, our biggest irritation was a family sat next to us in the dining area, who let their young child run around screaming, picking up serving utensils and dropping them on the floor, the parents then put them back in the food area to be reused, not ideal for guests using the utensils afterwards and dangerous having a young child running around with...

"I am delighted that I was able to stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and set in an incredible setting. The staff were all very friendly and really made me feel welcome. The breakfast and facilities (pool, sauna etc) all looked good although I didn’t use them. I will have no hesitation about returning to this hotel!
