"Wir hatten eine wunderbare Auszeit auf dem Hof. Die Ankunft im Nebel und Schneetreiben lief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Wir haben die Ruhe auf dem Hof sehr genossen. Auch mit Hofhündin Elli haben wir uns schnell angefreundet. Sie beißt nicht, ist aber sehr verschmust. Auch mit Ehrenfriede hatten wir schöne Gespräche. Wenn es passt, kommen wir gerne wieder!"

"The manager Filip was very kind and knowledgeable! The dining experience was absolutely superb. If I could give more stars, I would. He had very excellent wine pairings and was very helpful when we had questions. Helped us with our bags up and down the stairs. He even valeted the German super car we rented! Michael also made our breakfast experience smooth and easy. The staff is so friendly and attentive to their guests. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!"

Villa Mittermeier Hotellerie & Restaurant

"We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return."

"Situated just outside the entrance to the old town, the hotel is very conveniently located. The rooms are clean, and overall the location is very quiet. The breakfast buffet was yruly astounding and filled with many delicious options from cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, bacon, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

Some old hotels show signs of age but the owners of the Eisenhut have made sure that things are clean and new without spoiling the charm of a century’s old building . Brilliant location , very attentive staff. No cons at all with the hotel, but for info don’t follow set nav when Christmas markets are on , all surrounding roads around the hotel are blocked off . So it may be better asking for the car park location and parking first as this is outside of the no car zone and easily accessible. "
