"A typical mid range seaside hotel. Like the curates egg, good in part. Trying to be objective but honest, so staff were nice, breakfast and dinner good and lovely sea views. On the other hand reception was a bit like a small guest house but it worked. Our room/suite was potentially a very nice room spoilt by a miniscule bathroom about 1.5m square and virtually impossible to get two people in there at once! "Everything about the guest house was superb, including the en-suite bedroom and the breakfast. The hosts were so helpful and friendly, they even made our dog welcome with dog bowl, blanket, towel and treats in the bedroom. It was the perfect end to out fortnight's walking holiday on the South West coastal path and we would certainly stay at Taunton House again if we ever returned to the area. "
