"Our room was clean and well laid out. The bathroom was a good size, good powerful shower. The bed was comfortable, bedding was good. Nice towels and toiletries provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Would stay again. "

"We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The room was large and well appointed. The breakfasts were excellent! Parking in the street opposite the hotel was easy later in the day. It was great value and we would definitely stay there again."

"Outside of building misleading. Inside is clean and light. Our double ensuite had a view over the street, was clean and well equipped. Lots of hot water, radiators that can be adjusted, comfortable bed, tea making facilities. Very happy considering the price we paid. Breakfast was ok. Only issue is parking. We were lucky to get a place outside. Also major roadworks on route into town. But overall very good value for money. "

"We love this place! This was our 3rd stay, and we will keep coming back! Bridget and the Team are lovely, the dog friendly rooms are fab (and spacious) and set in their own oak framed building within the grounds (so nice and quiet if you want to retreat early, or have an undisturbed lie-in 😊. Nice menu with Specials available, excellent food (including a delicious breakfast), and a great atmosphere. See you again soon ☺️🙏👍 M, A & Ava (aka Bubbles! 🐾)"

"We had a lovely one night stay at The Stump while visiting our son who lives in Cirencester. It’s very well located and just what we were hoping for. Our room was warm and comfortable and well furnished, the service was friendly. Breakfast was nice and we had an evening meal the night before which was delicious. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. We got the third level room and it was nice and served its purpose. My only complaint with the room was that the bathroom absolutely reeked of mold. Other than that, the location was great, very walkable, and we enjoyed our stay (other than the terrible mold smell). "

"We only stayed for a couple of nights but we found Danni and her family very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything you needed. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all very much and we will definitely return. "

"12 of us stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights to see in the new year together, we had the most wonderful time. The house was perfect for all ages, there was something for everyone. We particularly liked that we could sit together in the living area and eat meals together as there was a dining table big enough for all of us. The games room and pool were perfect additions. Everyone enjoyed themselves which is a hard task when catering for all ages. We will be back, thank you"
