"We stayed here because we had no electricity or water at our home in Roan Mountain. But I will say that this has not been our first stay at Travelers Inn. We stay here a lot and we love it! Front desk people and housekeeping are so wonderful extremely Pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean but they are dated but you can't beat the price! "

"Quick visit with my college student, and Iwish I could have stayed longer. A truly beautiful hotel, and it was already decorated for Christmas, which made it even lovelier! The room was spacious in the bathroom was huge. I loved the separate bathtub... Could have soaked in there for hours! The beds were very comfortable, and the room was spotless. The attached Wellington restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices. "

"The guy at the front deak in the evening was awesome. He was very kind but also funny. The check in process was very fast and easy. We were able to get a room on the 1st floor which made our trip even better. Hotel was big. The restaurant/bar was a very nice surprise. We ate there both days. Room was comfy. Shower was warm and good water pressure. The hotel as a while could use some updates but it looked and smelled very clean. The breakfast was nothing to get excited about. Some boiled eggs....
