"Greyfriars was an interesting property. The hotel is on the main street, yet it felt contained, safe and quiet. The unit had plenty of room for 4 and the kitchen was well-stocked. There were chairs on a covered front porch that we shared with one other unit. This is not a fancy hotel but it more than met our needs for an overnight stay. The room was clean and I felt safe. It’s a good property for travelers with children. "

"Fabulous staff and the room and bathroom was clean. The property and units are old so chips out of taps, old plumbing, old carpet etc but it is clean. Bed linen was new and very clean and bed comfortable. The grounds are a bit overgrown and rough but it's quiet and the staff are wonderful! Some financial investment to upgrade would be make the property fantastic!"

The outdoor patio area was vety basic, and as the sun was bearing down hard on the patio and our room, we could not sit outside and enjoy the evening there (as we'd anticipated). "This Hotel/Motel had all the comforts of a larger Hotel. What was amazing was the bathroom floor was heated, not needed in the summer but would be nice in the winter.
