"The location is very nice and safe. All rooms have oceanfront view and right by the beach. Hotel is on the old condition but bathrooms are cheap renovated. The air/heat conditioning unit was very loud and made lots of noise. The walls are thin and we woke up from crying baby all nights. The room smell of dog. Whistling noise through the big door window since it’s a very old property. There was some stain and mold in bathroom. You pay the price to be on the beach. I would not pick this property...

"We had a lovely time with our two daughters and another family who we have vacationed with for years. The rooms were spacious for a family of four (two teenage girls) and the staff was very gracious. Would return here again. Thank you! "

"Property is beautiful and well taken care of. The daily housekeeping was spotty at best. They seemed to forget or miss something almost daily. Also one of the restaurants did not serve fresh food. I ordered mixed fruit dish and it was old. I would recommend the place overall but would probably find another hotel for my next visit."

"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "
